Tung oil has been a staple in military arms for over a century. This quick drying oil will produce a high quality water resistant finish when cured. Each kit contains a 3M finishing pad, a microfiber rag, a 4oz bottle of finishing oil and instructions. The rifle stock shown below was treated with six coats of Tung oil.

I used this on my expert grade M1 Garand from the CMP with new stock set. The stock was had some treatment but had a dull, flat look and needed a few coats of oil. Three coats of pure tung oil and the stock looks amazing! The kit has everything needed and plenty of oil left over to refinish my other M1 Garand. I’ll finish it up with Gunny Paste in a few days.

I purchased this kit to refinish my M1, the results were Outstanding ! The grain really pops now and is the showcase of this classic, I highly recommend it. Six coats of tung oil and two coasts of gunny paste I won’t hesitate to use it again.
